Sean Sexton is a Head of Character Animation at Dreamworks Animation. He was born in Livingston, NJ and is a graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover NJ.

He has over 20 years of industry experience and started his career in television animation as a character layout artist on Fox's hit show Futurama then began his career at Dreamworks as a rough inbetweener on the traditional animated film Sinbad -Legend of the Seven Seas.

Sean has been at Dreamworks Animation for over 18 years and has worked on 15 feature films including, SharkTale, Flushed Away, Over the Hedge, Bee Movie, Monsters Vs. Aliens, How to Train Your Dragon, Megamind, Puss in Boots, The Croods, How to Train Your Dragon 2, B.O.O., Kung Fu Panda 3, How to Train Your Dragon -Hidden World, Boss Baby, and The Croods 2. He is currently the Head of Character Animation on Spirit – Untamed.

Sean has been teaching animation for over 15 years at AnimationMentor.com and has taught and lectured at many studios and Universities including, Gobelin, Woodbury University, Cal State Northridge, Clemson University, Bardel Entertainment, and JellyFish Pictures.

Sean currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, daughter and Gerbanian Shepsky, Indiana.
