Emil Kraftling

Senior Game Designer

Emil has 13 years of experience playing on both sides of the fence in the gaming industry. Starting out as a writer for PC Gamer magazine in 2002 he later left a position as editor to join Avalanche Studios in 2008. He has since been involved as a Dialogue Coordinator, Narrative Designer and Senior Game Designer on games like Just Cause 2 and Mad Max.

Before entering the industry, Emil studied both Cinema and Computer Science and is very passionate about the marriage of game and narrative through emergent gameplay. He is also a firm believer that stories and explosions are not mutually exclusive.
