Virpi Kettu, an award-winning Director, Animator, Immersive Media Creator and Lecturer with 25 years international experience.
Owner of Kettu Studios that benefits from her experience with globally acclaimed studios, including Aardman Animations (Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Creature Comforts), the National Film Board of Canada, DreamWorks, and Universal Pictures.

Notably, Virpi’s work includes award-winning music videos for international icons including Radiohead (‘There There’ and ‘Burn The Witch’) and Katy Perry (‘Resilient’). Kettu Studios current local storytelling Transmedia project ‘Dogs’Dales’ combines AR gaming and animated series storytelling with local stories and tourism.

Beyond production, Virpi actively contributes to the field through teaching and research on animation and digital storytelling at schools and universities worldwide.

Recently, in collaboration with Leeds University and the NHS, she has co-authored an academic paper exploring animation's role in enhancing information transfer—continuing Kettu Studios’ dedication to social impact with animation.
