Matt Houghton is a TIGA award-winning level designer with over a decade of experience across game, level, and narrative design.
Now a founder and director at Observer Interactive, he is currently leading the narrative direction on the studio’s debut original IP, Good Boy.
Matt has contributed to globally recognized franchises, including expanding the Minecraft universe in collaboration with Mojang and working on titles such as Worms Rumble, Killer Frequency, The Survivalists, and Overcooked 2.
He has worked a variety of studios across mobile, AAA and Indie games. As a key figure within Team17’s external development team he also helped shape and support a wide range of successful projects, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and impactful designer.
