A three year stint at Teesside University studying video games art led to Dean getting snapped up by Rare in 2005. After helping wrap up Kameo as a launch title for Microsofts 'new' Xbox 360 console, Dean spent 4 years working on a large number of never to be seen Rare titles including Kameo II. After working on the Kinect Sports trilogy of titles and being involved in the early stages of Sea of Thieves, Dean jumped ship and joined a very young Playtonic as their 8th staff member. Dean has helped create worlds in the Yooka-Laylee games and is involved generally in all things arty and colourful.
