Parrish joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2010 as a character animator for 2010’s hit feature “Tangled.” His went on to work as character animator on the TV short “Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa” and ABC’s “Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice.” Parrish served as animation supervisor for 2012’s big-screen comedy “Wreck-It Ralph.” Prior to joining Disney, Parrish worked at Rhythm & Hues Studios; his credits while on board include 2007’s “Alvin and the Chipmunks” and 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk.” While at Sony Pictures Imageworks, Parrish worked on films “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” and Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland,” which were both released in 2009. A native of Fort Wayne, Ind., Parrish says he’s wanted to “make cartoons,” as he used to say, since age 7. He decided to pursue CG character animation as a sophomore in high school after seeing Disney•Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.” Parrish earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design with a major in animation. Parrish, who’s both artistic and adventurous, plays dodgeball, softball and basketball, and enjoys hiking and rock climbing, as well as furniture design and architecture.
