Senior Creative Specialist
Originally from New Zealand, where she first studied and worked in the industry as a VFX artist, Jessie Burgess has built a decade-long career fueled by a passion for visual effects. She began her full-time career in NZ before moving to the UK in 2017 to join Foundry, where she has specialized in the Nuke Family, Mari, and Flix. During this time, she also spent time freelancing as an artist, contributing to several projects.
In 2020, Jessie moved into the Creative Specialist role at Foundry. This position allows her to travel across the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, and Australia, speaking with a wide range of artists, studios, and educational institutions. She advises on the use of Nuke, Mari, and the broader industry, drawing on her deep technical expertise and hands-on experience. Seeing the passion artists have for their craft is what continues to drive her own enthusiasm for this ever-evolving industry.
