Rob Dressel started at Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2008 supervising layout for the ABC Christmas special, Prep & Landing. He has since been the director of cinematography, layout for Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6, Moana, Raya and the Last Dragon and the soon to be released Wish. Rob got his start in visual effects as a generalist and then specialised in character animation and rigging. He supervised animation on Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and also did previs and layout. From this experience, he was hooked on telling stories through staging and cinematography and continued working for eight years in live-action previs before crossing over to animation to do layout for Disney.
