Tina Nawrocki is an Annie Award winning 2d Animator who’s 20 years experience in the industry spans video games, television and film. Tina is best know for her work at Studio MDHR on the video game “Cuphead” and “Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course”. On top of her work at Petty Karma, and Woodrunner Games, currently Tina is directing and animating her own hand drawn short film entitled “Syrenka: Legend of the Warsaw Mermaid”.

Flip your Lid! Blow your Stack! A rubber hose character design workshop
Tina Nawrocki, 2d Animator and Concept Artist for Baroness Von Bon Bon and a multitude of Cuphead's other bad-ass enemies, will share behind the scenes details and shed light on the basic design features of a "Rubber hose" style character. In this workshop, Tina will guide participants in creating their own Cuphead-esque boss.
During the 3hrs creative skills development workshop, participants will design a new Cuphead-themed boss, polish their designs, set them up for a 2d animated idle cycle and learn about 1930-era context of the Cuphead world.

Coming Soon...After working in the animation industry for the last 20 years, Tina Nawrocki has embarked into directing and animating her very first 2D animated short film Syrenka: Legend of the Warsaw Mermaid. It is a 7-minute feminist fantasy drama based on the emblematic legend of the warrior mermaid of Warsaw, Poland. In this talk, Tina shares the journey so far in navigating the creative, financial, and time consuming world of independent short filmmaking.
