Lead Animator
Lucas currently is a Lead Animator on Pinnochio, directed by Robert Zemeckis. Prior to his Lead role he was a Senior Animator on Ghostbusters: Afterlife as well as on one of his dream projects, Godzilla vs Kong, where he was part of the team from previz to final animation. Prior to Godzilla he was an animator on Artemis Fowl, Shazam!, The Predator and on his first Monsterverse movie, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Before joining MPC in 2017, he was an animator on various projects from TV Series, Advertising, Games, and a small feature.

In this presentation MPC Film Animation Lead, Lucas Nunes will pull back the curtain on MPC’s work on the epic Hong Kong battle sequence between Godzilla and Kong. He’ll take a deeper dive into how animators at MPC choreographed the fight scene, using references from MMA fights, nature and their love of the Monsterverse.
