Natalie Wicks
Senior Designer
Natalie began her career in games in publishing at 30 years old, with no formal industry qualifications, and a weird CV which included stand-up comedy, board game reviewing and go-kart track administration. At Double Eleven, she made her mark as a Senior Designer on Prison Architect 2, where she was responsible for owning the design and implementation of multiple key features and game modes. Natalie’s knack for creating compelling pitches has made her a go-to person for high-profile external game pitches and early concept work and is instrumental in ideation and building partnerships. Her ability to craft persuasive presentations has been crucial in getting projects off the ground including Minecraft Dungeons, Rust Console Edition and more. Beyond her design work, Natalie is a passionate diversity advocate, dedicated to supporting developers from less traditional backgrounds as they find their pathways into game development.
