Vincent Serritella
Effects Technical Director/ Fine Artist
Serritella developed award winning effects on "Spiderman 2" and was nominated for Outstanding Effects in an Animated Motion Picture “Beowulf”, 2008 VES Awards. He is currently at Pixar Animation Studios where he recently completed work on “Inside Out” and is currently finishing effects for “The Good Dinosaur”. Vincent Serritella studied at both the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland and at The Cooper Union in New York City where he received his degree in Fine Art. Serritella presented the 2015 Webby Honoree winning project, Project 365 at The Children’s Creativity Museum in San Francisco, CA which has been published and awarded "Outstanding Book Of The Year: Arts Craftsmanship" by the 2015 IPPY Awards. Serritella currently lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.

Constructing a Procedural Train Track on Inside Out
San Francisco based Effects Technical Director and fine artist Vincent Serritella will present the challenges encountered on Disney/Pixar’s “Inside Out” when constructing and deconstructing a procedurally generated train track inside the mind. Vincent will also discuss his year long web based project, Project 365, the goal of which was to create and give away an original piece of artwork every day for one year to anyone in the world for free.
