Niel Bushnell has worked in animation for almost 30 years, starting out in 2D hand-drawn animation for feature films including Space Jam, before working as a 3D animator and concept artist for games including Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. He ran his own studio for 11 years, directing and producing animation for film and TV, including Derry Girls and Hyperdrive. Niel now runs the animation team at Atomhawk and has overseen recent work on Mortal Kombat 1 and several Games Workshop trailers. He has developed and written for several animation projects and completed three officially licensed Doctor Who audiobooks.
