Animex Screen

Monday 18 - Sunday 24 February

Cineworld, Middlesbrough and OL1, Europa Building, Teesside University

This year's Animex Screen schedule will once again include a diverse selection of acclaimed international short films from the festival circuit, informative and inspiring documentaries, special guest screenings and the usual family favourites - so you can be sure of some fantastic entertainment.

In addition to the usual line up of fantastic animation our programme this year will also feature specially selected screenings with a computer games related twist to them to join in with the 10th birthday celebrations of Animex Game.

Most of this years screenings will be taking place at the festivals central location on the Teesside University campus and the features for families screenings will be held at the Cineworld multiplex, and are all free of charge unless otherwise stated.

Please check the screening summary for full details of what is happening during the week and remember to check the website regularly for announcements of any surprise screenings.

The screenings will begin with the excellent documentary Indie Game : The Movie to round off Animex Game and will run all through festival week finishing with the Features for Families screenings at the Cineworld multiplex on Sunday 24 February where kids can bring their parents and watch their pick of a selection of great films for free.

With such a wide range and eclectic mix of films you can be sure that whatever your taste in animation there will be something for everyone at Animex 2013.
