A Brave Plan Ltd
Speaking at Animex Indie
In 2009 he was named one of '30 under 30 raising stars in video game development' by games industry magazine Develop. Georg has a passion for interactive Narrative & Immersive design and has given talks and lectures in the UK and abroad about story and character in video games.
Georg left Lionhead in 2011 in order pursue a variety of projects, including working for Hotsauce Interactive, a London based independent games company founded by UK TV presenter, comic writer & video games enthusiast Jonathan Ross, for which Georg has assembled a small development team. Hotsauce has released their first title called "Catcha Catcha Aliens!" for iOS and Android at the end of 2012.
Georg is actively involved in the game development community. He also sits on the games committee of the British Film & TV Academy (BAFTA) and last year he co-organised and produced ETOO, a small but successful 4 day games showcase event in central London that included a daily internet live show.
Basically Georg really loves games. He also smiles a lot.
Georg is a passionate video game developer, designer and producer with over 13 years of industry experience. He has worked for Lionhead Studios on BAFTA Award-winning games such as Black & White, The Movies, Fable 1, 2 and 3 in a variety of roles such as programming, design and production. For Fable 3 he oversaw the Audio, Music and Dialogue production, recording over 400,000 words with more than 80 actors.
Talk: Eternal treasures for cosmic imaginary
"The best things in life come as a surprise", explained Georg when asked what his keynote was going to be about, supplementing his answer with a subtle nod and confident thumbs-up. It might be difficult to believe that Georg used a random generator to come up with the title of this talk. When we probed for more details he initiated an elaborate hand gesture and disappeared in a cloud of smoke, which morphed into the word IMAGINATION!.
