Celebrating Animex Game’s 10th birthday with new events at Animex 2013
The fourteenth year of the UK's biggest festival of animation, visual effects and computer games promises to be the biggest and best yet and will introduce a full day of comics talks, and an Expo!
Last year we doubled the number of tickets on sale by running across two venues, and yet again all tickets sold out well in advance of the Festival. This year is the 10th birthday of Animex Game and to celebrate, we’re getting even bigger!
2013 will see the launch of a new Comics day which runs on the Wednesday of Animex week alongside the workshops – we have a very exciting line-up planned! Jim Zub from Udon Crew will be hosting the event which will be headlined by Marv Wolfman – creator of Blade and almost as many characters that have made it to film as Stan Lee.
Our partners Digital City Innovation will be introducing AnimEXPO, where our delegates can chat to recruiters and see demos of exciting new tools and technologies
As ever, Animex gives you the opportunity to see some of the greatest animated films in the world, learn from the best in the business in our masterclasses and workshops, visit our exhibitions and join the speakers and festival organisers at our networking and recruitment events. Animex Game and Animex Talk promise their usual impressive line-up of speakers from some of the world’s top studios, as well as looking at what’s new in the world of games and animation.
Once again, the festival will run across two venues at Teesside University's Middlesbrough campus. All talks and presentations will be delivered in both venues so every pass holder gets the same fantastic insights into the games and animation industry. For the best chance of getting a seat with your friends or colleagues, you should book your passes at the same time.
Booking passes couldn't be simpler. Have a debit or credit card handy and hit the Get Tickets button on our site.
So, if you're a student with a thirst for knowledge, a professional seeking inspiration or an enthusiast who just loves the art, take a look at our passes and see which one is best for you.
Don’t miss out – get your pass today and we'll see you in February 2013 for what will be the biggest and best Animex yet – and yes, we always say that, but it’s always true!
