Speaking at Animex Game
Andrew is a six year games design veteran, he joined Reflections in August 2008 after working with 2K Games. During his time as game and level designer at Reflections he has attended the Ubisoft Design Academy Paris, served as studio ambassador to communicate the vision for the franchise and established best practises in communicating game and level design methodology within the studio.
With an artistic background and a passion for film and music, Andrew prides himself on being a gamer first and foremost and is keen to see beyond graphs and spread sheets to visualise and craft a memorable user experience. He has worked on such titles as Don King's Prizefighter and Driver: San Francisco, and is currently working on the highly anticipated Watch_Dogs.
Talk: Shifting Gears
In 2011 Reflections Studio took steps to expanded its experience and share its expertise by collaborating on a range of exciting and popular titles such as Just Dance 4, Far Cry 3 and the hugely anticipated Watch_Dogs. Matthew Oakley (Artist) and Andrew Willans (Game Design) will provide a peek into the scrapbook of their experiences of studio life at Reflections, covering how collaborations are vital to creating the AAA franchises of this generation, and the next.
