Lead animator, Naughty Dog
Speaking at Animex Game
Eric got his start in the animation field only after getting a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 1996. Instead of pursuing a career in the Engineering field, he instead chose to pursue another avenue of interest, 3D computer graphics. What had only been a hobby until then quickly became a full-fledged career that has been both extremely challenging and rewarding over the past 16 years.
After working for a number of years in the world of commercial production and other entertainment ventures at S4 Studios, Nickelodeon Digital, and Digital Domain, Eric joined Naughty Dog in 2003. Currently a lead animator at Naughty Dog, he has been deeply involved in the production of cinematics for the game titles Jak 3, Jak X: Combat Racing, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception, as well as the upcoming release, The Last of Us.
