Speaking at Animex Talk
Max, previously President of the Exodus Film Group, whose first production, Igor was released in the 2009, is currently producing a series of animated feature films for the Exodus Film Group. He created and ran studios for Disney in London, Paris, Orlando and Los Angeles, working on some of Disney's most memorable films including Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King. As President of Warner Bros Feature Animation Max oversaw such hit movies as The Iron Giant and Space Jam. At DreamWorks, he was co-executive producer for Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron. He is a member of BAFTA, ASIFA and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (Oscars).
Max provides lectures and seminars on the art of storytelling, design and production for the feature animation industry. He guest speaks and conducts seminars/tele-seminars at companies, film festivals (Cannes, Annecy, etc...), schools, colleges and universities around the world. Max provides first-hand knowledge of how to develop, fund, produce and distribute animated feature films.

Every year the Oscars celebrate the best in film making, including animation. As a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Max gives an insight into how the Oscars work and just what it takes to get nominated.
