Free Animex screenings start
This evening sees the first of our FREE screenings of short films as part of the Monday line up of ANIMEX 2010.
The British Animation Awards Public Choice screening at 6.00pm features some of the finest animated work produced in the UK over the last two years.
This first of three programmes we are screening this week includes short animations, music videos and innovative commercials and is not to be missed.
Following the BAA screening at 8.00pm, is the first of our collection of abstract work from the Punto Y Raya festival in Spain.
This programme features the finalists and winners from the festival in 2007. The work ranges from drawn animation to cgi, to music visualisations, to algorithmic animation techniques. The results are distinctly original, imaginative and surprising works in animation.
Both screenings are at Cineworld and are FREE for all and do not require a ticket so get yourself along for an evening of entertaining and inspiring animation.
