Producer and Visual Effects Animator
Speaking at Animex Talk, Animex Pro
From 1989 to 2003 Tony was a visual effects animator for Walt Disney Feature Animation. It was his dream come true.
He contributed effects animation to Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Mulan and Lilo and Stitch among others. Then one day something crazy happened at Disney... the animators found themselves without jobs. To make sure the world knew what had happened, Tony produced the award-winning documentary Dream On Silly Dreamer with former colleague Dan Lund. The world premiere took place at Animex with the film then being shown in Australia, Canada, Ireland, France and many cities across the USA. Dream On Silly Dreamer is available for download on iTunes and on DVD from amazon.com.
Tony later joined Premise Entertainment, founded by a group of former Disney animators. They have contributed to Curious George, Disney’s Goofy short, How To Hook Up Your Home Theater and most recently Disney’s The Princess and the Frog.
Tony likes all kinds of things from the symphony, airplanes and skating to dinosaurs and the Olympics. He hopes to be the first animator in space.
