Born and raised in Taichung City, Taiwan, Sandy grew up intrigued by the developing trend of computers and arcade games. She moved to the United States and gained a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design in Michigan, and a Master’s of Fine Arts in Computer Graphics specialising in Visual Effects at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
In 2005 Sandy brought her prior experience in particle animation, lighting and compositing and joined Electronic Arts in Redwood City for Xbox360's Launch Title, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006. Observing the growing photorealistic style of high-definition video games, Sandy brought her vision in cinematic visual effects and later joined Vivendi Games for Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy and Sega of America for Iron Man the Video Game and Golden Axe: Beast Rider.
Enthused by the epic art and challenging game design Sandy joined the talented development team at Visceral Games of Electronic Arts in 2008 to make a 60fps game of Dante's Inferno. Striving for a visual immersion in video game, she continues serving the studio as a Lead VFX Artist.
