Games workshop supports disabled students
15 January 08
The Higher Education Academy Centre for ICS, in conjunction with the Accessibility Research Centre at the University of Teesside, is running a ‘Supporting Disabled Students Through Games’ workshop in conjunction with Animex on 4 February 2008.
The workshop is aimed at academics, including PhD students, who have an interest in using games in an educational context and specifically with disabled students. Delegates will have an opportunity to hear from colleagues active in research in this area and use some of the games developed in hands on sessions.
For details of proceedings and how to register for the workshop, visit the Higher Education Academy for Information and Computer Sciences website.
Please note: University of Teesside staff can attend this workshop free of charge, but must register. Places are very limited.
Animex Pass holders must also register for this event separately.
Registering for this event does not entitle the ticket holder to entrance to other Animex events.
