Award-winning digital pioneer speaks at Talk

09 December 08

Scott F Johnston is responsible for creating some of the most memorable animated sequences in recent history, including the wildebeest stampede in Disney's The Lion King and the ballroom sequence in Beauty and the Beast. Of note is also his work as Artistic Co-ordinator on the Warner Brothers classic The Iron Giant.

Scott makes his first visit to Animex to talk about his work, in particular how CG has impacted on an artists' ability to successfully combine 2D and 3D animation.

Having worked on several features for Disney Feature Animation, Scott was recognised in 2003 and presented with the Ub Iwerks technical achievement 'Annie Award' by ASIFA.

A genuine opportunity to hear from one of animation's creative pioneers. Don't miss it!

Scott Johnston will present at Animex Talk on Friday 6 February.
