Middlesbrough Town Centre
The A19 and A66 pass within one mile of Middlesbrough. The University's main entrance and reception is at the intersection of Borough Road and Albert Road. Unless otherwise arranged, all visitors should go to reception for information and advice to help them round the campus. A useful range of literature is available in the main entrance foyer, as well as a public telephone and a cash point.
Middlesbrough is linked to the national road network via the A1 and the A19 and A66 dual carriageways. Visitors should follow signs to the town centre, from where the University is signposted.

An extensive National Express coach service operates to and from Middlesbrough Bus Station.
Middlesbrough is just half an hour away by train from Darlington Station, which operates a nationwide service. There are direct trains between Middlesbrough and Newcastle, Manchester and Manchester Airport, Leeds and York. A Transpennine Express service also operates between Middlesbrough and Liverpool.
Durham Tees Valley International Airport is 13 miles away from the University. The airport has flight connections to London (Heathrow) and Amsterdam (Schipol), which are major European hubs for international flights, as well as scheduled flights to other British and international airports.
