Under Philip's Creative Direction, STUDIO AKA has developed into a world-class animation company known for its creative excellence and innovative approach to projects. As a senior animation director Philip has also directed and an eclectic range of commercials, including award winning spots for Orange, Time, Dyson and BMW.
Shelley is the European Representative for Feature Animation DreamWorks. She joined the Richard Williams animation studio in 1982 as a background artist.
Barbara began her screenwriting career in London when her first show Brown Bear's Wedding starring Helena Bonham Carter aired on ITV, Christmas day. It sold to most countries as well as the Disney Channel, and was nominated for five Emmy awards including Best Writer.
David is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Aardman. Together with co-founder Peter Lord, he has overseen the development of the company from a two-man partnership to one of the pre-eminent animation houses in the industry. David has served as a producer, director or cinematographer on a number of animated projects at Aardman.
Leonard is the co-founder and Director of Ballistic Media. He is also one of the most respected and influential visionaries in the global digital arts industry today with over half a million creative professionals, students and enthusiasts reading his company’s publications.
Jim is editor of 3D World, the only specialist monthly magazine for 3D artists and animators. Before joining the title in 2002, he was a contributing writer for a range of technology and film industry publications, including T3, .net, CreateOnline and Screen International.
Ramin is the Editor in Chief of Animation Magazine. He has been covering the world of animation, visual effects and technology for the past 15 years. His articles about the arts and entertainment world have appeared in The Los Angeles Times, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Movieline and The Christian Science Monitor and he's appeared on numerous animation and visual effects-related panels and juries.
