Mr. Linn grew up in Orange County, California, quite literally in the shadow of Disneyland. As a kid he was obsessed with cartoons, and his parents often had to physically pry him away from the television set to force him to get some sun. It was in high school when Mr. Linn found he had a knack for sculpting and credits his art teacher for showing him that art class was more than just holding pen for those students too unstable to be trusted in Metal Shop.
Mr. Linn’s passion for animation led him to a career as a maquette sculptor for Hanna-Barbera Cartoons in Hollywood. He worked his way up to department head and finally, 3D art director, for the company's licensing and marketing division, Orbit City. Mr. Linn still resides in “the O.C.” with his wife, daughters and dogs Pugsley and Wednesday.
