The Animex International Festival of Animation takes place every year in Middlesbrough in the north east of England. The festival has its roots frimly planted in the creative side of the animation business and as such acts to provide animators, directors, students, artists, designers, writers and educators with a forum in which they can share their knowledge and skills and promote the art of animation.
The event is now five years old and in this time has grown significantly with plans to develop even further in the future. Already Animex 2004 will be bringing new facets to the festival including the Animex Students Awards and Animex Game. You can get more information about these events in these pages.
Our strategy has always been one of inclusion, so if you have any ideas as to how we can make the festival even better, please let us know.
